Private Chefs are highly skilled, qualified and creative, providing world class cuisine utilizing top quality fresh, organic, seasonal ingredients for their Principals and their guests.  They are able to prepare a wide-range of excellent quality meals and source the best ingredients available.

General Responsibilities

  • Lunch and Dinner preparation.

  • Stocking of fridge and pantry with breakfast and lunch items, snacks and baked goods.

  • Grocery shopping, inventory and maintenance of stock items.

  • Management of household food budget.

  • Menu planning, from ‘family style’ to 5 Star plated quality meals.

  • Coordinate menu and oversee catering for larger parties if need be.

  • Responsible for washing up and cleanliness of the kitchen and pantries; keeping all floors, tables and countertops immaculate. Total kitchen oversight.

  • Deep cleaning when required: clean grease from oven hood, cleaning interior of all ovens, oil changes in fryer etc.  All machinery and kitchen appliances should all be in working order and well cleaned.

  • After meals, wash all dirty dishes and leave kitchen clean and tidy for the next morning.

  • Mop the floor and take out the trash.

  • Catalog and inventory of large and small appliances, containing manuals, specifications, and repair schedules.

  • Secure the best vendors for procurement of each product.
